hey, i'm ricky!

I’ve worked in event photography for just under three decades, and still going. I grew up in the industry shadowing my father who was a wedding photographer. I worked my way through every level, from lighting assistant to studio manager then to production director and photographer. It was at that time that Ricky Restiano Photography was born. It is through all of these experiences that I have been able to master my craft. I have a deep passion for photography and love what I do; I love that I have the ability to stop time and capture a moment that will last forever.

I am so incredibly comfortable and I know it so well— that the confidence I have makes it so easy and so much fun for me to push myself creatively at every wedding. 

Aside from shooting, I love spending time with my family. Any opportunity I get to be with them is amazing. When we're not together, I enjoy building things, socializing with friends and eating pizza because no matter what my body says, it’s really the greatest food ever.

“I knew that I had wanted Ricky to take my wedding photos before i even met my husband. In fact, when we got engaged, Ricky was the first person that we had booked. His photos and photography skills clearly speak for themselves and show how amazing he is. There isn’t too much I can say to show how good his work is because it shows in every picture he takes. What I can say however, is how great of a person Ricky and his entire team are. Ricky is truly down to earth and will do pretty much anything to get that perfect shot.
