hey, i'm chris!

Before my photo career I had a career in music. Spending a lot of time on the road documenting my once in a life-time experiences, I found a love for photography. Years later, when traveling ended, I realized I could make a living capturing other people’s special moments. This was then and is now my way of giving people something they’re not able to get themselves.

The thing I like most about weddings is how unique every experience is. Unique to the people. Unique to their personalities. And capturing those personalities is challenging— and that challenge is what I enjoy most.

Aside from a career, I like to take pictures and really enjoy the art of photography and all aspects of gear. Outside of photography, being a dad is definitely my favorite thing to do. No matter what I get to do with my daughter, trip to the aquarium, botanical gardens, or anything else outdoors, I love it.

“The absolute best!! The first vendor we went to after picking our venue was to Ricky Restiano Photography. We knew that we had to have Ricky capture our special day and two years in advance we booked the best in the business. Everyone here is amazing to work with. Last June Ricky shot our engagement pictures and they were amazing.. He went above and beyond to capture some of the most amazing pictures I have seen. I didn’t think it could get any better until our wedding album teaser went up on Facebook.. We were blown away!! Literally nothing stopped Ricky and Chris from getting these amazing pictures.. They climbed on each other.. jumped over gates practically going in water.. Anything they had to do they did it. We could not be happier with these pictures.. We can’t wait to see all the proofs and the album. Not only are they all so talented but their personalities and energy is awesome. Whenever people asked who our photographer was and we would tell them without fail they would say he’s the best.. And he truly is.. They all are such an amazing group of talented people and we are so honored that they were such a big part of our wedding day!

“There are not enough great things to say about this vendor. Ronnie, Vita and Chris were unbelievable to work with the day of our wedding. My husband is in the wedding business and see other photographers all the time so when it was time to book our photographer there was no question who we were going with.

Ronnie, Vita and Chris were hanging off of structures, climbing down rocks and laying on the floors to get the best angles for the best shots of us and our bridal party. They didn’t stop snapping their camera from the minute they walked into our houses in the morning until late into the reception hours. They traveled to all the locations with us and didnt miss a beat.

They also took our engagement pictures back in October. We took those at a little league baseball field and again Ronnie was hanging off of the fences to make sure he got the shot he knew would be perfect. Their designer took our favorite pictures and made our save the dates that we sent to all our guests. They will also be making our thank you cards which we know are going to be beautiful!

I can’t wait for our teaser to be put on Facebook and get to get our proofs. I know there are going to be THOUSANDS of awesome pictures that we’re going to have a hard time narrowing it down!
