aimee + brian : 2010.2.12
Who would’ve predicted that after a winter of virtually no snow two days before Aimee and Brians wedding we got 2 feet of it dumped on us. That didn’t discourage Aimee though she totally made the best of it and still ventured outside for some real quick photos. We went directly to the Harbor Club on Glenn Island for the photos and arrived just in time before the sunset. Anthony Petrozza was shooting second camera and was extremely helpful when Aimee’s vail fell out in the wind and her hair needed a quick fix. Nice to have a professional hair stylist on the hand all day!

BEST OF 2009 : the crew
If I’ve shot your wedding, undoubtedly you’ve seen the camera turned on me or ronnie and actually anybody that works with us. Its part of the job to photograph and be photographed! If it wasn’t for these photos I dont think anyone would believe what we go through to get the shot. So this third installment is of us and the craziness that we put ourselves through for all of you.
One more thing, you are going to see a lot of me posing thats done so we can check to see if the death defying spots we are putting you guys in is worth it. And of course it is! Oh and the music is from the greatest movie ever!

Sunset Cove : Tarrytown
I was asked be the owners of Sunset Cove in Tarrytown to photograph the restaurant and executive chef today for their new website. Tommy (one of the owners) and I worked together at my uncles restaurant Alex and Henry’s in Eastchester in the early 90’s and we occasionally see each other at events and things. Most recently tommy was a guest at Lisa and Justins wedding where I showed one of my slide shows during dinner and he asked if I could help with a project he was working on. They redesigned the interior of sunset cove and wanted something different to show it off. We decided to shoot the kitchen staff hard at work and thought it would give a different look to the overdone restaurant interiors you always see on restaurant websites. I had a lot of fun with this shoot and wanted to share it. As soon as the weather warms up and your looking for some place to relax give sunset cove a shot (I’m sure most of you already have) you will love it. And yes I did shoot a simple interior today to show off the amazing view this restaurant has. Its actually right under the bridge. So amazing!

katherine + jimmy : 2010.1.30
Katherine and Jimmy got married on one of the coldest days this week. When we were outside for the three seconds that we were outside I lost all feeling in my fingers. Thank god the inside of the Larchmont Yacht Club is so awesome.

The slide show music is their first dance song. Appaloosa by the Black Crows. ( I love different first dance songs : )

Good thing come to those who wait!
Real quick story.
When I moved my business back to Bronxville six years ago I rented a small room (you all probably met me in it.) As time went on that small studio space started to get cramped. First I hired Ronnie then came Jason, Nancy, Kerry and Anthony. I’m going to need more space. I always had me eye on the office next to mine, after all there was a door leading from mine to it, but its was rented and stayed rented until last month. The “for rent” sign was up for a few hours before I contacted the landlord. Well it took a few days of negotiations and then it was mine! I’m so excited to show everyone the progress on the space. I will post some photos as I renovate it. When I signed the lease the walls were beige and the floor was carpeted. I will spare you all the photos of that nastyness! Here are a few that I took during the sanding of the floors. Im staining the floor black.
