I’m sure you all know Ronnie by now. If not he is the person that I spend most of my time with. Yes even more time then I spend with my wife. Well this wedding is Ronnie’s older brother Pete. Leading up to this wedding I was giving ronnie such a hard time about the speech, and the day off so he could be the best man. I am happy to report that Ronnie’s speech was one of the best, best man speeches I’ve heard in a while, Way to go Ron! All the photos were taken at Fordham University in the bronx, I love shooting at Fordham. If your alumni lets talk about shooting there!
Lisa’s makeup was done by the wonderful Jill Imbrogno any time Jill does the brides make-up its always perfect. If your searching for the perfect person to do you make-up give jill a call!
My good friend Jamie Villarie provided the entertainment and the dance floor was packed all night!
This weekend also wrapped a three day weekend with my friend Dave from moving pictures. Yes, Dave and I worked all three days together and I didn’t kill him. Friggen video guys : ) The internet recap that he put together for lisa and pete is below. Great job Dave.

Kristen told me that she looks at my blog every monday. You can’t imagine the pressure that puts on me! I knew I needed to wow her!
I have worked at the Tarrytown House a few times before and remembered a giant tree on the ride in. When I pulled in today and saw the tree it was even better than I remembered. My mind was made up I was going to shoot inside it somehow. Now all I needed to do was convince Kristen and Josh to climb in! To be honest it didn’t take much convincing. Kristen said she was willing to do anything I wanted. Im so glad you trusted me Kristen. : )

Gretchens first (and second) day of school
Believe it or not, Gretchen started school this year. (Actually I’m probably the only person who can’t believe it.)
Where the hell did the time go. I feel like she was just born and already she is off to school.
It was an awesome morning gretchen was so excited the night before, all she kept talking about was the pony’s and chickens at her school. (more about them later : )
Gretchen chose her outfit for the first day. Here she is posing on the steps in her dress.

Off to the car, she brought her favorite pony for the ride. We left him in the car though because at school she has a real pony to play with!
Gretch likes the guy on the right but my favorite is the donkey (yeah I know!)

Stella was on hand to help Gretch with the transition.
This is the start to day two.
In true Restiano fashion we were the first ones there. It’s never to early to learn the importance of being punctual : )
If your wondering why there are chickens, pony’s and donkeys at Gretchens school its because Catherine and I follow a different philosophy on children and their developmental stages.

The kids do other activities like painting singing and dancing. The basic principle is to let the children develop their imagination and creative side before the abc’s and 123’s. The animals are a bonus. ( Im still laughing at Shari’s email : )

F*ckin rain!
Thats the only thing I could say today, It didn’t stop once. Regardless lisa and chris had so much fun they made the photos go way beyond my expectations!
I have never seen a bride dance to every song until tonight. Lisa is a party animal, actually all the bridesmaids were feeling it! Hi Jessica!
Im so glad everyone had a good time and didn’t let the crap weather bring anyone down. Anyway Its ridiculously late at this point, I need to sleep.

What a wonderful day it was yesterday!Untermeyer Park for the photos with lots of sun flare, oh yeah : )
Then off to the Marina Del Ray for the reception, I love local events! If anyone reads this and knows brain and daniella’s first dance song please leave it in the comments section. I would love to put together a slide show of all the images. Off to the Ritz for the start of wedding number two.
Dave frommoving pictures just sent me this recap from the wedding. How cool is the shot as Daniela and her father walk into the church. I love it.
